South African model Candice Swanepoel, who was recently named Maxim's hottest woman in the world, has been announced as the new face of American fashion retailer Free People.

The brand recently launched in the UK with a western-inspired collection, featuring black leather, heavy fabrics, plaids, and lariat necklaces. Swanepoel is best known for being a Victoria's Secret angel, and has appeared in campaigns for the likes of Max Factor and Agua Bendita swimwear.
